Cognition+ Introduces HCAI Integration for Auto Claims

Health Claims for Auto Insurance (HCAI) allows healthcare facilities to submit treatment and assessment plans, confirmation forms, invoices, and assessments for attendant care needs to auto insurers for review and adjudication.

For Insurers underwriting personal auto in Ontario, Cognition+ has automated this activity, and claims professionals can now look forward to:

• Having claimant and policyholder information automatically uploaded to HCAI upon creation of an AB sub-file within Cognition+
• Requesting bulk document download/extract from HCAI and having each document instantly attached to their respective AB sub-file
• Receiving a notification when an associated document has been saved to a claim file

This new capability results in an effortless process for adjusters to obtain critical medical documents and accelerate claims file adjudication.
